Entrelac is addictive! Every time I turn around I seem to be getting new ideas and inspiration of things I want to try. I haven’t figured out exactly why I’m so entranced by it, but so far I’m really enjoying the ride. Today it was finally bright enough out to get some pictures done, so I can show you the second teaching piece from Gwen Bortner’s Entrelac Class on Craftsy.
I love that it’s seamless and reversible. It’s a nice step in the progression of the skills and way of thinking to create Entrelac, and the three and a half days I spent creating it were a good investment in the foundation of future design work that I’d like to do. It also gave me plenty of practice in doing the knit and purl stitches both left to right and right to left. I did this one in Noro Retro.
Next is the cape!
Have you tried Entrelac yet? What do you like about it?
